THE STEINBACH PRODUCTION LIST…

This Steinbach production list is finally complete and shows pictures of nutcrackers handcrafted in the Steinbach workshops in Hohenhameln and in the Erzgebirge at Marienberg through the year 2011. In the list we have counted a redesigned nutcracker in addition to the original model, such as the Chimney Sweep 707a and the later one 707b. It will also show a second dress color such as the Shepherd in a brown coat S710b, and in a white coat 710c. If we were unable to get a picture of the actual nutcracker, we copied a picture from an old Steinbach catalog. We know of 783 designs and we show pictures of all but one---the elusive Flutis

Nearly all of the pictures were taken of the Steinbach collection shown in the Leavenworth Nutcracker Museum, as Herr Steinbach often referred to this as the largest Steinbach collection he had ever seen.

This production list will be available later this year from the Nussknacker Haus for $65.00. Pictures will be photocopied, as formal printing costs would be prohibitive. This book has been sent to Karla and Karolin Steinbach for corrections and has been approved by them. Please let us know if you are interested in purchasing one of these production books so we will know exactly how many to order.

We have always tried to keep as complete an inventory of Steinbach nutcrackers as possible to please the most discerning collector, but now we find we must downsize our inventory. You can readily find pictures of these items in your Steinbach books. We will email pictures to you if necessary, but please send your request by email and give us time to process your request. Many of these are single items, so do not hesitate to order. There will be an additional $20.00 if the nutcracker you choose is signed by Christian Steinbach, and $10.00 if signed by Karla or Karolin.
